I really like this app. You get the idea that not every todo is equal. It’s great to have an easy interface and I like the ease of adding new tasks.

The price may be a little low. Lesser apps go for $25. Even worse getting the equivelent on blackberry would be double. I think you are justified to charge $5.

Doit’s primary weekness is a lack of a portal interface and sync tool. This is where Remeber the milk I comes out ahead. If you need an app like this, you need to be able modify your list from anywhere.

Would be nice if you added the possibility to pick the notification sound. Now it uses the default notification sound and there’s no way to know whether this is a notification from doit or a text message.

First of all, great app. I use it every day. A few things: I have “Task Manager” and when I end all apps, DoIt no longer notifies me when a task is due. I would also like to see other options under the due date menu. For instance, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, and 30 minutes seem redundant. Why not have 15 minutes and then add a 2 days and 1 week option or something similar. Another idea is the priority options, how about a bar under the task or the whole block shaded the color. How about a bold text option. Just a few ideas. Thanks for the app.

We know about this problem and try to solve it.

I misunderstand you. Please describe this features more detail.

    Thanks again for your feedback

Probably you are already working on this but adding voice capabilities would be great. Imagine you want to quickly create a task/memo without typing the whole thing. You just record it, tag it with 1 or 2 keywords (preferably from history) and you are done. Next step would be ‘voice recognition’ in order to do automatic tagging using what was recorded or searching of the voice tasks based on what was actually spoken and recorded.

    Hi,

Just purchased Doit for my Hero.

Really good product, but would be greatly improved if:

    1. You could snooze the notification.
    2. You could set a recurrence or repeating of a task.

    Thanks Matt

First of all, this is a great app and I love having it. I would only change one thing. Could you separate the due date, time, and notification options. I really like being able to assign a due date. But I don’t always need a reminder at a specific time. It would be if you could choose these options individually. I have your Battery life app as well and love it. Keep up the good work.

I wanted to give DoIt a try but I cant seem to find it in Android Market. Is there something I did wrongly?

I tried searching for CurveFish and it turned out all your apps except DoIt.

DoIt is paid app. Maybe you can’t buy it in your country. Sometimes we publish trial version of our paid applications.

Nice app on my Droid. A few things that would be really nice…

Option to have vibrate notification – I use a side holster at work and need vibration notifications for some items. If you do take the time to put this in, please make sure there are some good options. So many apps include only a quick vibrate which really does no good.
Option for different folders – Create one for work, home etc.
More quick time options – As others mentioned in the reviews on Market, it would be nice to have a greater range for the quick selects plus the custom you already have. There is an app out there that allows you to click each notification several times to add time. For example…click the 1 hour button three time to make it 3 hours from now.

Overall a great start…keep up the good work

Hi…I am new to the whole “app” thing, but I like this one very much and am recommending it wholeheartedly. (I have the paid version on my new Droid.) I am wondering if there is any way to sync my list with my computer, either wirelessly, through email or via usb? Thanks for any info!

You should rename middle priority to Medium Priority. There is no such thing really in common english as middle priority.

no backup / sync? I didn’t get a Droid to have ANY data trapped on my PDA. Are you planning to add a sync feature with gmail or “Remember the Milk” or something? gmail / google docs sync is really a VERY big component of Android devices you know. I only mention “RTM” because I’ve heard so much about it, interface with gmail calendar would be far prefferable for many of us.

    Maxim Yudin Reply:

We think we will make this feature, but we dont know when, because google tasks dont have any API.

Great app but can’t find instructions how to set notifications. See a check box under settings for “show in Notification bar” When checked on notification bar is “DOIT- select to oopen task list. But don’t see how you get a list of individual notifications in the app itself as in one of the screen shots you show?

Would be nice to have more instructions available.

I’ve bought this app yesterday, few words:
    - sort by ascending priority should be deafult in tasks showing
    - when you add a task where’s the save button ? I have each time to hit “back” or “menu” to get the buttons, while there’s a lot of wasted space in the bottom
    - when you do NOT set a value it shouldn’t display anything, I don’t understand why we should read “No notes” and “due: no date set” under each task, it’s a waste of space and you have to scroll to see the other tasks.
    please hit me back

A suggestion for the next version: the possibility to sort tasks in alphabetical order and by date.
    Keep on working!
