Same issue – Neither the Free nor the Donate version appear on the Droid. It shows up as “installed” under Application Settings, but the icon doesn’t appear anywhere, so perhaps it has a problem with Android 2 ? What’s up, would love to use it!

How do you know if you are using the wifi or 3g? Does this turn off the 3g (say if I were in another country and didn’t want to use the 3g network rates…just free wifi)?

I tried to remove the Widget WiFi OnOff by moving it to the Trash icon on the bottom of the desktop, but it would not accept it. I then went into the Settings>Applications>Manage applications, chose WiFi OnOff and the Uninstall. I have been left with a box on my desktop that says “Problem loading widget” in it. I can’t seem to remove that remnant. Any ideas how to do that?
Thanks

Hi!
cool, I really like your “OnOff” widgets. However on devices with higher resolution (Motorola Droid), they look a bit blurred on the screen. Are you planning to increase the resolution of the bitmaps?
Thanks,

Hi! The widgets look great after the laat update. But after this update the WiFi switch is not working-class.as good as before. It reacts slow, or I even have to put it on and off a few times. Also, after a while, when my HTC hero has been on standby, it’s not responding. Have to put it off and on again.
What happened here?

After some days the widget switch the WiFi on/of but the icon don’t refresh. So I can’t see if the WiFi is currently switched on or off. I use a Sony Xperia X10. Do you have any idea?
Thanks,

Hi.
This Widget is so amazing. Works flawlessly on Xperia X10.
Just one small thing!
When used along side with the Bluetooth Widget and APN Widget, this Widget stands a little higher. I mean if you place them all in the same line (horizontal), the WiFi Widget stands higher than the other two. Can you please fix this?
Thank you very much.
PS: Sorry for my bad English. It’s far from my native language.

Love your widgets. Just upgraded to Froyo using CyanogenMod v6.0.0 RC1 and the “Label” portion of the widget (2.1.0) as well as the ability to one click your way to Wi-Fi settings isn’t working. The label doesn’t show up and clicking in the area where it used to take you to settings doesn’t do anything. This functionality is working find on your Bluetooth On-Off widget.

I cannot find this app within my apps drawer after I install it. I want to put a shortcut on my screen, but I can’t. I had it installed, but the icon got corrupted. I removed the icon, but couldn’t find the app to replace the shortcut. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and still I can’t find the app. It does appear in my app list under settings, just not in the apps drawer.
Gotta remove it again and find another app I guess….

Could you add an optional function to the wifi widget (and in the widget onoff pack) that allows us to press the widget and a screen pops up (like the brightness screen) and you turn wifi on for set amounts of time? like 5, 10 15 minutes kind thing. then it turns itself off after that time.

Dear Sir,
Your WiFi On/Off switch is Free download, when I try to load, it takes me to pay for this download; I have paid $0.99 for it. Since I like your switches for all in my Homepage. I am very happy to donate. But the 2G3G won’t work on my HTC Desire 2.2 Froyo, can you tell what I have to do to make it work?
Thank you.

Im having trouble with this widget. I installed it on my homepage, and it was in a bad area. Every attempt to move it just toggled my wifi off and on. After I was unable to figure out how to move it, I went and uninstalled it. I was left with a empty box with “problem loading” written in it, which I am also unable to remove!
Please help me, as of now this widget has totally F’d up the appearance of my phone!

I use Garmin-ASUS A10 (Android 2.1) with this widget and working well. But I noticed that when I turn on WiFi through this widget, the WiFi icon won’t appear on status bar immediately, must wait 20-30 seconds around then appear(WiFi now ready). If I turn on WiFi through this widget (now the WiFi status not ready), and go to setting => wireless manager => Wi-Fi, my phone will get IP address immediately and get ready for WiFi. Is there any possible way to accelerate this process to get IP address through this WiFi widget?

The option to add the WiFi widget just magically appeared. I don’t know why or how, but I just tried to add your rotation widget, which didn’t show up as an available widget to install, but lo and behold, the WiFi WAS now available! However, the widget name shows up on the side of the icon, instead of below it!

I’ve a LG VS840. Android 2.3.6. The icon is not correctly centered in its grid square, sitting ~3/4 label widths lower than it should. If WIFI on, whole icon activates widget. If WiFi off, widget activation area is tiny, maybe a section of the label on the right. Excellent app though, very useful even with this issue.
